Hello! Today I want to share two cards I made using some products that are retiring. The Last-Chance Products Sale is going on now. Items are available to purchase only WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Up to 70% off on some items. Click HERE to go to my online store.
APRIL HOSTESS CODE is: M7EC6X4W.
One of the "Last-change" products is the Many Medallions Dies. I was inspired to use the Many Medallions Dies to cut from, not solid card stock, but from Designer Series Papers. My inspiration was a card by Donna Leonard. You get quite a different effect when you use the DSP.
The DSP I used for the background on this card, cut with the Many Medallions Die, is very subtle. It is from the Peony Garden DSP, also on the retiring list. I used the largest die for the background, and another die to cut the basic black card stock decorative/accent piece. The label is die-cut from basic white using a die from Beautiful Boughs Dies which is a retiring product, too. The 2 label dies in this set alone, make it a very versatile set to have.
I also used True Love DSP, found in the 2021 Jan-June Mini Catalog, to fussy cut the flowers. I then colored the flowers using Blending Brush and So Saffron Ink Pad.
The sentiment is from Ornate Thanks Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto basic white. Then die-cut, as I said, using Beautiful Boughs Die. I love this label die!
Assembly: I glued the Medallion onto a card base of Daffodil Delight CS. Then I glued the black decorative strip, applying glue just down the center. In that way I could then tuck the label under part of it. I felt this popped out the black detail piece. Would you agree? The flowers are adhered using Stamping Dimensionals.

For the 2nd card, I used the Berry Delightful DSP and largest Many Medallions Die for the background. This card is a bit brighter & bolder looking. I glued the Medallion to a basic white card base. You don't really see the strawberries once the DSP is die-cut, but you get the effect of all the colors from the DSP. You can see the versatility with using this die, various DSP, and many other dies & stamp sets you may have on hand. Let your imagination go, and soon you'll create a beautiful card.
The circles are punched out of basic white (2" punch) and Poppy Parade (2 1/4" punch). Both punches are on the retiring list. The sentiment, from the In Bloom Stamp Set, is stamped in black onto the white circle. The circles are layered & glued together & then glued to the card front. The leaves and flowers are die-cut using the Pierced Blooms Dies - colors are Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamengo and Granny Apple Green. I glued the leaves and largest flower, then adhered the rest with dimensionals.
There you have two cards, with two totally different looks, using the Many Medallions Dies and other products that are soon to be gone. Shop early, for when the products are gone, they are gone! Stampin' Up! retires products from one Annual Catalog so as to make room for new products coming very soon in the New 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
