Today I'm featuring the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper.  You can get this package of DSP FREE during Sale-a-Bration, with a qualifying order of products totaling $50 (before tax + shipping).  Sale-A-Bration (SAB) is going on now through February 28.  One month left!

Flower & Field DSP - FREE Sale-a-Bration item 155223

I have two cards for you to see, today.

I really love the bright florals on the jade background in this first card.  The flip side is polka dots.  Love this, too!  See what you think.  It's a quick and easy card to make.  The layout (sketch) can be used with a variety of papers, too.

Flowers & Field DSP.  Vine Design Stamp Set.  2 1/4" Circle Punch

Here are the measurements for this card:

  • Card base:  Just Jade card stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", fold in half (at 4 1/4").
  • Floral DSP:  5 1/4" x 2 3/4"
  • Polka dot DSP:  5 1/4" x 4".
  • Piece of white card stock to stamp & punch circle using 2 1/4" circle punch.
  • Approx. 6" Length of Just Jade Gingham Ribbon (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack, Item 153620)
  • Stamp Set: Vine Design (154488).  There are also coordinating dies for this set, which I used in the 2nd card, below.  Get both the stamp set and the dies, and save 10% - Vine Design Bundle 156266.
Instructions:
  • Glue the floral DSP onto the Polka Dot DSP.  Wrap the ribbon over the seam where the 2 meet, and adhere ends of ribbon to the backside (snail adhesive, stampin' seal, or stampin' seal+).  Then adhere all to the Just Jade card base.
  • Stamp sentiment and leaf image with Just Jade ink onto piece of white card stock.  Stamp the flower image in Bumblebee ink.  Punch out with 2 1/4" circle punch.
  • Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the circle to the card front.

The 2nd card would make a pretty Valentine.

Flowers & Field DSP, Lots of Heart Bundle, and Vine Design Bundle

For this card I used the stamp set Lots of Heart and the coordinating dies, Many Hearts Dies.  These can be found in the current 2021 JJ Mini Catalog.  Purchase as a Bundle and save 10% (bundle item 156202).   The other set I used is Vine Design and coordinating Flowering Vine Dies (bundle 156266), to stamp the border around the sentiment, and then die-cut it out, as well as a sentiment inside the card.

Stamp sets used, and the Many Hearts Dies (scalloped heart, scrolls of hearts) and label die from Flowering Vine Dies.

Measurements and details for this card:
  • Card base:  Flirty Flamengo CS, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", fold in half (at 4 1/4").
  • Striped DSP layer:  5" x 3 3/4".
  • Floral DSP piece:  die cut this with the scalloped heart die (from Many Hearts Dies).
  • Piece of Flirty Flamengo CS:  Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp the border using the stamp set Vine Design; stamp the sentiment from Lots of Heart stamp set; die-cut with the die from Flowering Vine Dies.
  • For the small hearts in the sentiment piece:  use the stamp from Lots of Hearts set that is a strip of 13 small hearts; ink up just one of the hearts with black ink, and stamp next to the sentiment; repeat to stamp a heart at each end.
  • Black card stock:  Using dies from Many Hearts Dies, die-cut the strip of hearts that will go at the bottom edge of the card, and also the heart cutouts that are in the upper right corner.

Assembly:
  • Adhere the striped DSP to the Flirty Flamengo card base, positioning it near the top edge of the card.
  • Adhere the "scrolly"/heart-vine near the bottom edge of the card.
  • Glue the left side of the sentiment piece onto the floral heart;  then, using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the heart + sentiment to the card front.
  • Glue the smaller heart cutouts to the card front.

More of the Many Hearts Dies used

Inside the card:
Stamp the sentiment from Vine Design stamp set.
Glue a strip of DSP (5 1/2" x 3/4") to the bottom edge.  Glue some more heart cutouts. (You will have these heart cutouts left over from previous die-cutting.)
