I have such fun creating cards with the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper! The winter scenes lend themselves to so many applications. Take a peak at this one!
The window was made using Best Plaid Builder Dies and Stitched Rectangle Dies. Use both to cut out the window frame and the muntins (the grid or cross pieces in the window) in Whisper White card stock. Two sizes of stitched rectangles are used for the frame, the largest and the 3rd from largest. Glue the grid piece behind the frame. Trim the protruding grid pieces, after glueing, to be entirely behind the frame
Cut a piece of the Trimming the Town DSP 5 1/8" x 3 3/4" that will fit behind the window. First, glue the DSP to a card base: Misty Moonlight card stock cut 4 1/4" x 11", folded at 5 1/2". Next, using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the window frame over the DSP.
The sentiment is from Poinsettia Petals stamp set; stamp it in Poppy Parade ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White CS; cut one end as a flag. Glue to the window frame. Add a Poppy Parade embellishment from the All the Trimmings Embelishments.
Inside card:
Inside: Whisper White CS cut 5" x 3 3/4"; stamp Merry Christmas from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set using Poppy Parade ink.
To make a coordinating envelope (and why not?! such cute houses!), I used the Envelopes Dies and another piece of the Trimming the Town DSP.
