Stampin' Up!® Curvy Christmas

This serene, snowy scene, in less traditional Christmas colors, is fun and easy to create.  Here is how I did it.

I started with a piece of the beautiful Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut 6" x 4 1/4".  Then I used the Curvy Dies and cut the DSP into 2 sections.  Place the die under the trees in the image.  Separate the 2 cut pieces to allow a sentiment from the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set to fit between the two.  Trim the bottom piece so that both pieces of DSP will fit onto card base.  (Card base is 11" x 4 1/4", folded at 5 1/2").

Emboss both pieces of the DSP with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.   Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 4 1/4" x approximately 2"; stamp sentiment and a few snow flake images from Curvy Christmas stamp set, using Balmy Blue ink onto this white piece, fitting into the curve of the DSP.  Glue the white card stock piece beneath the DSP.  Then glue it all onto the Blushing Bride card base.  There you have it!

Supplies and measurements:

  • Card base:  Blushing Bride card stock, 11" x 4 1/4", folded at 5 1/2"
  • DSP:  Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, 4 1/4" x 6" (trimmed after Curvy die cutting)
  • Stamp Set:  Curvy Christmas
  • Ink:  Balmy Blue
  • Other:  Curvy Dies, Winter Snow Embossing Folder, Liquid Multipurpose Glue
