A dog person? A cat person? Which are you?
The Playful Pets Designer Series Paper has some of the cutest images of cats and dogs. I fussy cut out the cat and the 2 dogs to use on these Christmas Cards. The cat card was inspired by Su Mohr's Halloween Spooky Card.
Playful Cat Christmas Card
Supplies for the kitty card:
- Playful Pets DSP - cut out the black cat; red & white stripe piece for a layer (5 1/4" x 4").
- Stamp sets: Festive Corners (string of lights, "MERRY" sentiment); Curvy Christmas (Christmas tree),Warm Hugs ("Christmas"), Ornamental Envelopes & Envelope Dies (ornaments on tree)
- Card stock: Real Red card base (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded at 4 1/4"), Whisper White to stamp on (4 3/4" x 3 3/4").
- Inks: Shaded Spruce, Real Red
- Other: Stampin' Blends to color the lights (could also use pencils), Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
A Merry Doggie Christmas
Supplies for the dog card:
- Playful Pets DSP - cut out both dogs; striped piece for layer (5 1/4" x 4").
- Stamp sets: Curvy Christmas (tree); Pampered Pets (pair of hearts, "I hope your day is" sentiment), Celebration Tidings ("Merry").
- Card stock: Real Red card base (5 1/2"x 8 1/2", folded at 4 1/4"), Shaded Spruce layer (4 1/4" x 3 1/4"), Whisper White to stamp on (2 3/4" x 3 3/4" and a scrap for the sentiment).
- Inks: Shaded Spruce, Real Red
- Other: Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
