Stampin' Up!® Reach for the Stars

Welcome!  I have a couple of cards to share that are...ok, I'm going to say it...out of this world fun!!  I'm using the Star Gazing Collection of products. (pp. 86-87 in the Annual Catalog.)  The Collection includes the Reach for the Stars Bundle (stamps+dies), Stargazing 12"x12" DSP, and Holographic Specialty Paper.

Once you start using these beautiful papers and fun images you won't stop creating.  The dies, alone, are fabulous.  Along with dies to cut the astronaut & space shuttle images, the set includes 6 nested circle dies which coordinate with many of the colorful planets in the Designer Series Paper.  It's wonderful having so many different sizes of circle dies, all in one set!  Use them on so many of your projects.

The Collection also has the Holographic Trio 12" x 12" Specialty Paper.  Beautiful!  I used it on both my cards.

I layered the holographic paper behind the astronaut...note the bluish-purple "glow"; then a layer of basic black card stock behind the holographic die-cut piece.

Doesn't that paper just add a special dimension?  I know it's difficult to appreciate the full impact in a picture...in person it really is something!  Hmmm, might be fun to use on some holiday cards, too...
