This fun-fold card was inspired by Patty Bennett. I showed a winter version with the Beary Cute stamp set in my previous post. Here I have a fall version to share with you.
I've used several products that will be available starting Sept. 6, from the 2023 Sep-Dec Mini Catalog, (also known as the Holiday Catalog).
Products from the upcoming Mini are:
- Rustic Crate Bundle - stamps + dies
- Autumn Leaves Bundle - stamps + dies
I also used these products from the current Annual Catalog, available now:
- Let's Go Fishing 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP)
- Stylish Shapes Dies
- Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins
- Stampin' Blends: old olive, lemon twist, daffodil delight, pumpkin pie, crumb cake.
- Very Vanilla card stock, Pecan Pie card stock, Pumpkin Pie card stock
- Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals
Card measurements & details:
Cut a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" very vanilla cardstock in half, giving 2 pieces, each 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".
- Score one half at 4 1/4"
- Score the 2nd one at 2 1/8" and at 4 1/4".
Now glue the two together so that the 2nd half's smaller folded panel is on the right.
Cut 2 pieces of DSP and adhere to front of card & to the small flap:
- 4" x 5 1/4" - glue to card front
- 1 7/8" x 5 1/4" - glue to flap
Using a circle die from Stylish Shapes Dies, cut a circle out on the card front, cutting through the DSP and the card stock; save this cut-out piece.
Stamp image from the Rustic Crate stamp set using Pecan Pie ink onto very vanilla card stock. Die cut it using Rustic Crate dies.
Color using various Stampin' Blends. (or use Watercolor pencils if you prefer.)
Once you've finished coloring the image, glue the image-piece onto the previously circle-cut out, on the vanilla side.
Now carefully glue the circle w/ the image onto small flap, first assuring that it will show through the circle "window" on the card front. Also, be carful to just apply glue/adhesive where the circle will touch just the flap.
For the sentiment piece:
Die-cut the "hello" using the Rustic Crate Dies and Pecan Pie card stock.
Die-cut leaves using the Autumn Leaves dies and Pumpkin Pie card stock
Die-cut a label using the Stylish Shapes Dies and Vanilla card stock. To this, glue the "hello."
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the sentiment piece to card front.
Add sequins or other embellishments of your choice; I used the Neutrals Adhesive-backed sequins.
Inside:
Cut very vanilla card stock 3 3/4" x 5"; add a strip of the DSP; add a die-cut leaf.
Optional: you can stamp a greeting, or leave blank for a handwritten message.
