Stampin' Up!© SWEET CONVERSATIONS

Just like the boxes of those Sweet Conversation candies, this card is full of multi-colored hearts.  The stamp set and coordinating dies are in the new 2022 Jan-June Mini Catalog.  When ordered as a Bundle (stamp set + dies), you save 10%.  Bundle item #157624

Or get the Sweet Talk Collection Suite for all the coordinating products:  the DSP I used as well as the Gingham Embossing Folder (used as background), iridescent rhinestone embellishments, real red faux linen ribbon, and sweet little boxes (for treats).  One Item number to get it all:  Item #157629.  Click SWEET to see it in my online store.

The heart dies in the set will match up with, and cut out some of the conversation hearts in the Sweet Talk 12" x 12" DSP.  The little envelope is also a die-cut using the Sweet Hearts Dies.  I also used the Tasteful Labels Dies (in the Annual Catalog #152886) for the focal point.

Here are the details:

  • Card base:  Petal Pink CS 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score & fold at 4 1/4".
  • Layer of Petal Pink CS 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" which I embossed using the Gingham Embossing Folder.
  • Strip of the Sweet Talk DSP, 4 1/8" x 3/4".
  • Glue the DSP strip to the embossed panel of petal pink; then glue to card base.
  • Die cuts:
    • Tasteful Labels Dies: cut a label from Basic White CS.
    • Sweet Hearts Dies:
      • Cut the envelope from Highland Heather CS.  The die also scores lines which you fold along to create the small envelope.  I used a couple of Mini Glue Dots to close the 3 sides, leaving to top of the envelope open.
      • Cut some of the Conversation Hearts from the Sweet Talk DSP.
      • Die-cut the very little hearts from coordinating colors of CS (Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, So Saffron).
  • Focal piece (label + envelope):
    • Stamp (off center) the sentiment from Sweet Conversations Stamp Set using Highland Heather ink onto the white die-cut label, leaving room to add the envelope.
    • Glue the envelope to the other side of the label.
    • Use Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere this focal piece to the card front.
  • Add all the die-cut hearts, having them coming out of the envelope.  Use Mulit-purpose glue &/or Stampin' Dimensionals.

Inside:

Stamp the sentiment with Highland Heather ink onto Basic White CS, 5" x 3 3/4".

Glue a strip of the DSP along the bottom edge.  Glue to inside of card.

There you have it!
