This is the final month of the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. Many of the products in the Catalog are now discounted up to 50%. Don't miss a chance to get those on your wish list. Quantities are only while supplies last.
To highlight one of the Last Chance Products, I thought I'd share a card I made using one of my favorite set of dies in the Mini Catalog. The card was inspired by one of Meg Loven's cards. The die set is called Many Hearts.
NOTE: The Many Hearts Dies are now discounted 10% during the Last Chance Sale. I love the largest scalloped heart die! And the set includes 15 dies, total, many of which I used to create this card. Click RETIRING to see the Last Chance products.
Stamps, Dies:
- Many Hearts Dies, Lots of Heart stamp set - retiring June 30. Available only while supplies last.
- Many Messages stamp, Messages Die (one cling stamp with 18 messages cut with one die).
Designer Series Paper and card stock:
- Sweet Symmetry 12" x 12" DSP (in the current 2021-2022 Annual Catalog)
- Bloom Where You're Planted 12" x 12" DSP (also in the Annual Catalog)
- Basic White CS
- Flirty Flamingo CS
- Bumblebee CS
- Just Jade CS
To create this card, I used the large scalloped heart die to cut out a heart in Flirty Flamingo card stock. Then I used the next size heart die and cut from the new Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper. I glued it to the scalloped die.
From the Lots of Heart stamp set (also retiring at the end of June), I stamped (twice) the trio of flowers that you see bracketing the sentiment; these are stamped in Just Jade ink onto white CS and colored with Stampin' Blends (light mango melody, light & dark calypso coral, light jade). Then I die cut them out.
Using more of the dies, I cut the birds (flirty flamingo), the small heart (flirty flamingo), the leaves (just jade), and the open floral pieces (bumblebee).
The card base is Basic White CS - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", folded at 4 1/4".
Layer of wood-grained appearing paper from Bloom Where You're Planted DSP - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
I adhered all the die-cut pieces to the card front with glue, except the scalloped heart, which I adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from Many Messages stamp set and die cut with the coordinating Messages Dies. These two products have been carried over to the new 2021-2021 Annual Catalog.
