Stampin' Up!© Lots of Heart

Do you love stamping and creating using hearts and heart images?  But maybe you want something you can use for more than just Valentines. Is that you?  I have just the card!

I, myself, a lover of all things "heart" and "Valentine," decided to try an alternative heart card.  I was inspired by some DSP in the Sale-a-Bration Brochure and a stamp set in the current JJ Mini Catalog. They paired perfectly together!   See if you agree.

This card uses Lots of Heart stamp set and coordinating Many Hearts Dies from the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog.  Get them in a Bundle & save 10%.  (Bundle item 156202.)  I have also used a Sale-A-Bration item:  the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper.  This DSP comes with Berry Blessings stamp set, and is a FREE SAB choice when you have an order of $100 (before tax + shipping).  Item 157613.

Now to the card, and how I made it!

Here are the measurements of card stock and DSP I used:

  • Card base:  Whisper White (or Basic White), 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", fold at 4 1/4".
  • DSP plaid layer from Berry Delightful DSP:  5" x 3 3/4"
  • Next layer of CS:  Pacific Point CS, 4 1/8" x 3 1/8".
  • DSP blueberries layer from Berry Delightful DSP:  4" x 3".
Glue the blueberry DSP to the Pacific Point CS, then to the plaid DSP piece, and then to the white card base.

I stamped the plaid heart image from the Lots of Heart stamp set using Pacific Point ink onto a piece of white card stock, then die-cut using one of the heart dies from Many Hearts Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set onto a scrap of white CS, also in Pacific Point ink.  I cut a flag/banner end and glued it to the heart.  The heart + sentiment were adhered to the card layers using Stampin' Dimensionals.  There you have it!

This card comes together quickly and has a lot of visual impact from all the pattern on it.  What do you think?

Shop the products HERE, or hop over to my online STORE.   To see PDFs of the Catalogs, click Catalog images on the righthand panel of this blog.  When your order is $100, you can add the SAB item 157613 - Berry Delightful DSP + Berry Blessings Stamp Set (these come bundled).

HOST CODE for JANUARY:   WVM6UKEH

Use the Host code for orders under $150 (before tax & shipping) and I'll send you a thank you gift.  If your order is $150 and greater, don't use the code, but instead select product of your choice from any current Catalog.   The SAB item (DSP) that I used on this card is on p.14 in the SAB Brochure.

I hope you found some inspiration today for your own crafting projects.  Let me know if you have any questions, or leave me a comment.  If you're looking for a Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.

Stay safe, be well, and take care,
