Hi!  Wishing you a Merry & Bright season, and all the best in the upcoming new year.

I wanted to make a card using some bright colors, to go with the Merry & Bright sentiment.  My inspiration was a card by Martin Stone.  The "MERRY" is cut using the Playful Alphabet Dies.  The "Bright" is from the Joy Dies that coordinate with the stamp set, Peace & Joy.  These are the colors I used: Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Yellow, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay.  The card base is Smoky Slate.

Measurements:

• Card Base:  8 1/2" x 5 1/2", folded at 4 1/4"
• Whisper White card stock:  4" x 3 3/4"
• Strips of the colored card stock:  4 1/2" x 1".   Overlap to leave 1/2" showing.  The last strip, Bermuda Bay, is cut 4 1/2" x 1/2".
• Letters:  die cut from the same colors as the strips
• "Bright":  first adhere a piece of Daffodil Yellow to a piece of adhesive sheet; then die cut the word "Bright"with the Joy Dies.  You will peel off the adhesive and stick to the piece of Whisper White.
• Scrap of white for "AND" - stamp in Basic Gray.

Assembly:

• Glue together the strips of colored cardstock, overlapping them.  Set aside.
• Glue the letters and the word Bright to the Whisper White piece.  Stamp the star-bursts from Peace & Joy stamp set, in Smoky Slate ink.  Stamp the "AND" from the Peace & Joy set in Basic Gray onto a small piece/scrap of white card stock; trim.  Adhere the "AND" piece using Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Glue the striped piece to the back of the whisper white;  then glue it all to the card base.
• Add Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the center of the star-bursts.

Inside:

Whisper White card stock 4" x 4":  stamp sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink.  I used a sentiment from Garden Wishes stamp set - this is a new set that will be available starting January 4.  It's in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog.   I stamped the small star-burst in the same ink colors as the strips on the card front.

Adhere to the inside of the card.
