Stampin' Up!® Curvy Christmas 2020

If your thoughts are beginning to turn toward Christmas, I have just the stamp set for you!  It makes such cute cards.  I just love it!     Available to order NOVEMBER 3.

Curvy Christmas Stamp Set

The set has images of whimsical trees along a hilltop; sparkly starts shooting across the sky, pine boughs, mistletoe, individual stars, snowflake, and top it off with the perfect bow.  Sentiments are in curvy script, and of course the perfect "MERRY CHRISTMAS" greeting, too.

There are coordinating dies (Curvy Dies) and also 6"x 6" Designer Series Papers (Classic Christmas DSP).  The stamp set and DSP are available to order Nov.3-Dec.31.  The dies will carry over & be in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. (Note:  there's is also Quite Curvy Stamp Set that coordinates with the dies.)

These are the steps showing how I created this card:

Card Base:  Whisper White CS, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", folded at 4 1/4".

Layer:  Real Red CS, 4" x 5 1/4".  Adhere red layer to the white card base.

Stamped layer:  Whisper White, 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".

Designer Series Paper:  Choose 3 patterns in Shaded Spruce; cut using the Curvy Dies.  "Shingle" or stagger these 3; glue together.  But wait to adhere them to the White card stock.

Stamp the curved tree images with Shaded Spruce ink onto the white CS.  I used the Stamparatus stamp tool to determine the placement of the curve of the trees so that it would match the curve of the "hills" of DSP.

After stamping the trees, glue the trio of DSP under the image of the trees.  Stamp the curved stars (I used Delicata Gold ink - if you don't have that, you could use Versamark & Gold emboss powder).  Again, I used the Stamparatus to help with placement.  Stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink.  Then adhere all to the card base (to which the real red CS was already glued).

Inside:  Whisper White CS4" x 5 1/8".  This will help give some strength to the back of the card, since the front has multiple layers of CS.   Before adhering inside the card, stamp the other sentiment in Shaded Spruce.  Beneath the sentiment, stamp the pine boughs, in the Spruce.  Stamp the dots ("berries") in Real Red.  Then glue to the inside.

I hope you love what I created with these stamps and dies.  Let me warn you, they are habit-forming.  Once you start with them, you will be thinking of all the ways they can be used.

I would love to hear your comments!
