Stampin' Up!® Campology

Thinking back to some serene, restful days at the lake inspired me to create a couple of cards using the Campology Stamp Set. And I love plaids and checks...oh, and coffee!!  Let me give you the details for creating the cards yourself.

First up:

This card comes together pretty quickly.  For the background I used one of the selections from Plaid Tidings Designers Series Papers (153527).  I stamped three of the images from Campology Stamp Set (152553) in Shaded Spruce ink (147088) onto Whisper White card stock.  I cut them out using Stitched Rectangles Dies (151820) and glued to the plaid DSP.  This was all adhered to a Whisper White card base.  For the inside of the card, another piece of the plaid DSP was glued to the bottom edge; the sentiment was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.  And all done!

Card base, whisper white (8 1/2" x 5 1/2", fold at 4 1/4").  Plaid DSP layer, 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".

Second card:

Card base is Mossy Meadow card stock, 11" x 4 1/4", folded at 5 1/2".  Layer of wood grain paper from In Good Taste DSP (152494), 3" x 5 1/4" and checked paper from Heart Warming Hugs DSP (153492), 5 1/4" x 1".  Overlap the wood grain & checks just slightly (approx. 1/8") and glue together.  Then glue to card base.

I stamped the image of the coffee pot & mug from Campology stamp set in Basic Gray ink (149165) onto Whisper White CS.  The sentiments are from Nothing's Better Than stamp set (152507).  Using Mossy Meadow ink, I stamped the sentiment just above the coffee pot and cut around all the images using an oval from Stitched Shapes Dies (152323).  I stamped "Coffee" on a scrap of white card stock, also in Mossy Meadow ink.   Using Stitched Shapes Ovals I cut a larger oval in Mossy Meadow card stock.  I glued the two layered ovals together.   I glued the end of the Coffee to the front of ovals, then used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere it all to the card front.

Inside, a strip of the checked DSP, and sentiment from Campology.

A variation of this card:  I colored in the coffee pot & mug using Stampin' Blends, Granny Apple Green.

What do you think?  Any favorite?  I'd love to hear your comments.  Want to purchase supplies for these cards?   For the Plaid Happy Trails Card, click HERE.   For the Coffee/checked card, HERE.

The stamp sets I used were Campology (152553) and Nothing's Better Than (152507).

Thank you for stopping by my blog, today.   I hope you found some inspiration from these cards.  These days, more than ever, it's important to stay in touch with one another. Why not make a card - send out a little warmth & some kind thoughts to someone!

Stay safe, be well, and take care.....JULIE
