AUGUST HOST CODE: S7XGE29T
I want to share some cards I made using the FREE Sale-a-Bration products. You can still get the products! Shop through August 31st, or while supplies last.
First up: the Aspen Trees Dies - item #163102
This die is free when you make a purchase of $100. I love this die! I think you will, too.
I used a piece of Basic White card stock, 4" x 5.5" to cut the trees. Then I colored the trunks using Stampin' Blends. On another piece of white CS, cut the exact same size, I use Blending Brushes and ink pads to create a soft background for the trees. The colors I used: pale papaya, blending from the top down; and a soft green (mint macaron or soft succulent), blended from the bottom up. I adhered the tree piece over this blended background using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The owl, leaves & sentiment are from the Happier Than Happy Bundle.
Next - a card that uses 2 Sale-a-Bration Items: (card inspired by Amy Koenders from stampwithamyk.com)
- Hippest Hippo stamp set - Item #159921
- Hippo Dies - Item #159928
Each is Free with a separate $50 purchase.
I stamped & die cut the hippo image (Memento black ink, color with Blends). I die cut the other elements from card stock, using the set of dies: sunglasses (real red & basic black), boat (crumb cake), life saver (real red), propeller (silver foil specialty paper). I cut the waves in pool party card stock (or balmy blue would work) using Scalloped Contours Dies. I free-cut a strip of silver foil for the banner pole, and I stamped the sentiment using a retired set Awesome Otters (Jan-Feb SAB), but just use any small greeting stamp in your stash. Stamp the greeting on to white CS; die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies; roll one end over a skewer or narrow pencil. I used So Saffron card stock as the background, layering the waves and the hippo in his boat as shown in the photo. Adhere this layer to a slightly larger piece of real red CS to "frame" it. Adhere to a layer of DSP (from a pack of Assorted 6"x6" DSP) & card base (crumb cake).
Finally, this last card. (My card was inspired by Meg Loven of Lovenstamps.com.)
It uses the Sale-a-Bration Rings of Love 12" x 12" DSP - Item #159939. (FREE with a $50 purchase).
The DSP coordinates with Ringed With Nature Bundle, item #159889 - in the July-Dec (Holiday) Mini Catalog. The Bundle is $53, so with that purchase, choose your SAB reward: this DSP for FREE.
Tri-fold, DSP-based card with Rings of Love DSP
Open tri-fold card, showing other side of DSP inside
The house image, from Ringed With Nature stamp set, is stamped in Night of Navy (first stamped off one time), with roof stamped in Early Espresso. Sentiment from same set is stamped in Memento. The DSP is cut 11 3/4" x 5 1/4" (with attention to the direction of the pattern in your DSP). Score at 4", then score at 4" from the first score line. Front should be the 4" width, middle is also 4"width, and the remaining 3 3/4" is the flap. Add adhesive to the back of the middle section, and adhere to a base (soft suede CS) 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
Those are just some of the FREE Sale-a-bration items available with your purchases through Aug. 31, while supplies last.
If you have any questions, let me know. I'm happy to try & help with any of your crafting needs.
Thanks for stopping by the blog, today. If you're looking for a Demonstrator, I'd love to work with you.
Till the next time, take care! JULIE❤
