WELCOME TO MY BLOG! If you received this in an email, click the title to jump to blog.
I love crafting and card-making!! What's more, knowing and interacting with others who feel the same, just increases the joy and fun of creating a special card to send to someone. I recently took part in a card challenge presented by a talented group of stampers. I created the card I'm sharing today.
The Challenge was to use the following on the card (You can now play along & make a card too!):
- The color orange
- Some Vellum
- Birthday greeting
- Ribbon or twine
For the layered background DSP, I choose a selection from the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Papers.
This pack of DSP is in the current 2022 Jan-June Mini Catalog; item #158039; or get the Suite Collection #158052CARD DETAILS
Card base: Basic white CS, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", fold in half at 4 1/4".
Layer of DSP -glue to the card front: Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper, 4" x 5 1/4". I used the water-colored looking Night of Navy selection. It has flecks of gold foil throughout.
Square Vellum Doily - adhere one doily to the DSP card front with Mini Glue Dots, placing the glue dots where the flower pieces will cover them up.
Stamps + Dies: Ranunculus Romance Bundle (Item #157977)
- Using Calypso Coral ink, stamp the ranunculus image (Ranunculus Romance stamps) twice onto Basic White CS
- Die cut flowers with the coordinating Ranunculus Dies
- Overlap the two floral pieces and adhere to card front on top of the Vellum Doily
FEBRUARY HOST CODE: G3JJPZZ7
Be sure to use the code at checkout when your purchase is under $150 (before tax & shipping fees), to get a special thank you from me. Don't use the code for purchases $150 and greater - instead you will choose rewards products from any current Catalog.
You still have time to get Sale-a-bration FREE products when you shop the month of February. You can access my online store by clicking at the top of the blog, or this link SHOP.
I hope you found some inspiration today. If you have any questions, let me know. Leave a comment below about the card. Will you be making one of your own with the Challenge parameters? I hope so!!
If you are looking for a Demonstrator to work with, I'd love to be yours.
Thanks so much for taking a look at my blog today! Till the next time, take care....JULIE ❤
