July's Paper Pumpkin Kit

Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I'm talking PAPER PUMPKIN!!

I'm hopping on for a quick post, today, to remind you today JULY 10, is the last day to subscribe or reactivate your Paper Pumpkin in order to get July's Kit.

Paper Pumpkin, if you don't know, is a subscription kit of crafting materials.  When you subscribe, you will receive, each month, a box of supplies to make cards & other projects, delivered right to your door.  The kits are all-inclusive, containing card bases, envelopes, label die-cuts, embellishments, glue dots &/or Stampin' Dimensionals, and a dedicated stamp set that is solely for each kit.  You'll also get Stampin' Ink Spots, AND instructions to make the cards/project.  Monthly cost is $22 USD & that includes shipping.  Or you can pre-pay 3, 6, or 12-months in advance and get a discount.  Get ALL the details by clicking PUMPKIN.

If you like to "think outside the box" - well, you can do that, too!  Use the supplies along with whatever other stamps, dies and papers you may already own to create "alternative" projects.  Get July's Kit ordered by today.   You can subscribe NOW on my store site HERE.

Each month is a "surprise" as to what is coming.  But we get a sneak peek starting the 11th of each month, for the coming month's theme.  You need to subscribe/order before the 10th of each month.  You can suspend (skip) any month, or cancel subscription completely, as long as you do so before/by the 10th of the month. No hassles, no worries.

Time to view a card or two as examples.  These are alternative cards that I created using the JUNE Kit.

For the month of June, the Paper Pumpkin Kit was Expressions In Color.  This kit had the additional feature of coordinating with the Expressions In Ink Suite of products in the Annual Catalog.   Let me show you an "alternative" note card I made using the June Kit.

The products from the kit that I used are:

  • Bumblebee card base & envelope.
  • Bumblebee Ink Spot.
  • The Stamp Set.
  • Vellum paper.
  •  Evening Evergreen note card base.
  •  Die-cut leaves.
  • Die-cut Label
  • Self-adhesive sequins
  • Evening Evergreen Twine
  • Note sized evelope

I used the Bumblebee card base, cut it down to 3 3/8" x 4 7/8" to fit as a layered piece on top the Evening Evergreen note card base.  Using Bumblebee ink spot I randomly stamped the floral image all over the layer of Bumblebee CS.  Then in the same color ink,  I stamped some "THANKS".  Then I wrapped twine 3 times around the piece.  Next, I adhered this layer it to the Evening Evergreen note card base.

Using a punch I own, I punched out a 2 1/4" circle from the Vellum.  I adhered it to the card front using a little glue placed in the center where I knew it would be hidden behind the label.

I used one of the labels included in the Kit and stamped the THANKS in Bumblebee ink.  I added leaves from the Kit & the dimensionals from the Kit, to adhere the leaves behind the label, and then to the card front.  I put some of the sequins around the card to give a little sparkle.

The front of the envelope:  I used two of the stamps, the floral image & and a stamp that makes a "puddle" of color (for want of a better term) behind the floral.   That's all for this card.

Here's another card using some of the Kit's supplies and an additional stamp set, Turtle Friends (Annual Catalog), some Pale Papaya CS, and a label die-cut from Hippo & Friends Dies.

Those are just a couple of cards to give you an idea of how easy it is to expand on the supplies that a Paper Pumpkin Kit gives you.  Not that you have to.  The Kits come with everything you need.  It's a great way to get your stamping supplies started.  It's also great to have a kit to take with you on a trip or vacation, when you might want to do some crafting.  Stamp with family and friends by sharing a kit, or craft together remotely/virtually with each friend using their own Kit.  Lots of possibilities to have fun with others.
