Rise & Shine Coffee card

This card uses the very versatile stamp set RISE & SHINE from the Sale-a-Bration 2nd Release Catalog.  Click on the image on the right column of this blog to view the PDF of the catalog.
The card could be used for any occasion: a birthday, thank you, meet-for-coffee card... or as a holder for a gift card to a favorite coffee/tea shop;  just personalize it with a greeting of your choice on the inside.

  • Stamp set:  Rise & Shine (item #152303) from the Sale-A-Bration, 2nd Release catalog. This set is free with a purchase of $100 in SU products, during SAB.
  • Coordinating dies, Cup of Cheer Dies (item 151150, available online store)
  • Card base is Night of Navy cardstock 4 1/4" x 11", folded at 5 1/2"
  • Country Club DSP layer 4" x 5 1/4"  From the 2020  January-June Mini (DSP item 151314)
  • Night of Navy 3 3/4" x  3 1/4"
  • Whisper white 3 5/8" x 3 1/8" - stamp the steam on this piece in Gray Granite ink.
On another piece of white, stamp the mug in Garden Green and cut out with the Cup of Cheer dies. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the mug below the steam image.

Stamp "coffee" (or "tea", also included in the stamp set) in Night of Navy ink onto white; cut out with the tag dies.  Also from the dies, cut the bow in Gray Granite cardstock, and the layer for the tag in Night of Navy.
The mug is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals, everything else is adhered with Multi-Purpose Glue or Snail, your choice.

Inside, I used a piece of Whisper White, 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" and glued a strip of the DSP along the bottom edge.  I stamped a "thank you" in Night of Navy, as I was sending this card to a friend who had given me a Starbucks gift card.  But you can personalize it in your own way.

The Rise & Shine stamp set is one of the Reversibles by Stampin' Up! - it's like getting double the number of stamps!!  For example, you ink-up and stamp the mug with handle on the right; then flip it over, re-ink, and stamp with the handle on the left. All the mug stamps, as well as the little tag stamps, are Reversible.

REMEMBER:  It's SALE-A-BRATION time at Stampin' Up!
